- Conducted and presented clinics (musical talks) in 46 states of the United States and Canada, Scotland, England and Belgium.
- Over 500 published compositions, arrangements, and teaching books with 19 publishers.
- Including Warner Bros. Publications Supersounds Series and Carl Fisher Sound Spectacular Series.
- Annual ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) special award for composition for over 25 years.
The North American, Maestro Andrew Balent came to Brazil at the invitation of Maestro Nicolau Martins de Oliveira. He came to observe the work of the Volta Redonda Municipal Schools through the Project "From Steel to Classical" and to teach the Course "Composing and Arranging for Young Bands".

From July 1, 2000, to July 30, 2000, he worked with the Concert Band of FEVRE, conducted the concert that took place on July 17, 2000, and traveled to many Brazilian cities observing several bands.
In the program of the concert on July 17, all performed pieces were composed or arranged by Maestro Andrew Balent.
