The first visit of the North American Maestro Andrew Balent to Brazil in July of 2000 was very important to the music work done with the Music Bands in Schools.
So Maestro Nicolau Martins de Oliveira invited once more Mr. Balent to come back to Brazil to work again with the Concert Band of FEVRE.
Maestro Andrew Balent was in Brazil for his second visit from October 01, 2001 to October 30, 2001. During this time he visited several bands and musical ensembles, worked with the Concert Band of FEVRE and conducted the performance that took place in Volta Redonda on October 21, 2001. He also conducted the Concert Band of FEVRE in a concert for children, promoted by the National Music Academy, that was performed in Salão Leopoldo Miguez of UFRJ Music College on October 26, 2001.

In the program of the concert on October 21, all performed pieces were composed or arranged by Maestro Andrew Balent.
