Dela participaram cerca de 900 alunos da Rede Municipal de Ensino de Volta Redonda - Banda de Concerto, Bandas II e III, Banda Marcial e Coro Infanto-Juvenil.
No programa, os Hinos à Bandeira, Nacional, da Independência, de Volta Redonda, Canções Folclóricas e Cívicas e a Sinfonia da Ópera "O Guarani".
The CELEBRATION OF THE BRAZILIAN ANTHEM took place on August 31, 2003 to celebrate 100 years of Maestro Franklin de Carvalho Junior's Birthday and the Opening of the Brazilian Independence Day Week.
About 900 students from the Volta Redonda Municipal Schools performed at the celebration - the Concert Band, the Bands II and III, the Marching Band and the Children-Youth Choir.
In the program the Brazilian National Anthem and other Brazilian Anthems, Folk and Civic Songs and the Symphony of the Opera "O Guarani".
